IMG_1697Katie is a 225hr certified yoga instructor with additional training in Baby, Toddler, Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga as well as Yoga Touch and trained in the Mindful Schools curriculum. What she loves most about yoga is the opportunity it creates for students – no matter their experience level, body type or ability – to take a break from the busy and slow down in order to honor their mind, body and spirit. For this reason, Katie is especially passionate about introducing yoga to beginners by helping her students conquer whatever fears that may be keeping them from starting their practice and providing education on how to get the best benefit of each pose and every breath. She specializes in beginner-level, how-to classes and restorative classes focused on rejuvenation and stillness. She also loves working with children and families. Katie is a proud Irvington resident, writer, wife, and mother to two girls.
