With a practical, empirical approach to yoga, Suzannah Walker asks students to observe what happens in their bodies during class and to look more closely with each iteration of a pose. In this way, a class becomes more than a good workout; it becomes a way of learning more about who we are. This self- knowledge begins at the physical level, and with practice and some good fortune, may expand into deeper dimensions of consciousness. Suzannah is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level and is studying toward certification as an Iyengar yoga teacher.
