Teresa has been an Irvington resident for 13 years. She is married, has raised 3 children and resides with her dog, Lea and Cleo the cat. She hails from Zacatecas Mexico. Teresa currently works full-time with Eskanazi as a medical interpreter.
Teresa is a graduate from Harrison College and has been trained in a wide variety of speciality techniques including hot stone therapy, cupping, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage and more. She is a trained Reiki master. She is also certified in aromatherapy.
“I can remember my great grandpa and grandma giving massages, it was part of my growing up. I worked on them too, massaging their arthritic hand and feet. My grandmother had healing powers in her hands.”
People need more touch from children to the elderly. “
Irvington Wellness Center is thrilled having Teresa on board. We will be using her special communication skills in reaching out to our Spanish and Latino friends in our community.
