Savanah Strever_Headshot

Savanah Strever originally discovered yoga as a way to manage back pain caused by scoliosis, but quickly grew to appreciate not only the positive impact on her physical body, but also her mind and soul. She pursued her first yoga training in 2015.

As a teacher, Savanah especially loves getting to know her students and designing a practice around specific issues and pains so that they are able to live their best lives through the use of yoga. She offers an easy-going teaching style with gentle modifications along the way. She enjoys creating an inviting space by encouraging students to laugh and smile, while listening and responding to their body’s needs.

In addition to teaching yoga, Savanah has nearly ten years of experience in international development and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in environmental management from Ball State University, specifically focused on building sustainable local food systems. Originally from North Central Indiana, Savanah now lives in Irvington and is enjoying the opportunity to stay home with her new son, Luca. She loves baking, cooking inventive vegetarian meals, reading and traveling.

Savanah received her 200 hour yoga training through Marianne Wells Yoga School in 2016. She received training in YogaFit Level 1 and Level 2 in 2015. She teaches Restorative Yoga on Fridays at 6:15 p.m. and Flow & Slow Yoga on Sundays at 4 p.m.
