Meeting Yoga where you are – Beginner friendly. with Susan Baggarly
This class is based on Hatha yoga and is beginner friendly. Hatha yoga is the basis for all types of yoga and at this level, her classes focus on breath, flexibility and alignment . Classes move with and easy, gentle pace. Susan believes that yoga is for anyone who wants to experience the sense of well being via physical, emotional and spiritual transformation. With the use of breathing techniques and yoga postures, students will have the chance to become stronger and more balanced, quieting the mind and experiencing deep relaxation. She encourages her students to listen to their bodies, appreciate the support of students nearby, feel safe, and adapt postures to meet their needs.

Iyengar Yoga with Suzannah Walker
The hallmarks of Iyengar yoga are precision in practice and teaching. The purpose of all this exactness is to deepen awareness in the body and steadiness of mind. By moving from the basic shape of a pose toward more detailed actions in the feet, hands, legs, arms, hips, and shoulders we improve the pose and, more importantly, learn to focus inward. In a four-week rotation, this class explores standing poses, forward bends and twists, beginning backbends, and restorative asanas together with basic pranayama. Every class includes some work with inversions (headstand, shoulder balance and variations) with alternatives and prep poses to ensure safe mastery. Some yoga experience is recommended. Iyengar Yoga was developed by B.K.S. Iyengar, a student of Krishnamacharya.
